We are so excited here at Matches Towers at the imminent arrival of our latest find, Pedro Lourenço‘s fab new collection. This boy from Brazil is heading a cohort of his countrymen breaking through through the phalanx of Euro designers who parade both glamour and refined design.
To show off his Resort collection and gives us a sneak preview of next year’s range, Lourenço has enlisted model Maria Bradley and video director Philip Andelman to create a short film of what he has to offer us – yum. The collection was inspired by an eclectic mix of modern and urban lifestyles. A military influence comes through in Aviators and Bomberjackets made in Couture fabrics; masculine shirts made of transparent fabrics combined with super mini-skirts for a boyish-girly look. In this filmette, model, Bradley, represents a young, sporty urban and feminine woman found floating in slow motion yet full of energy and precision – very Pedro Lourenço.
